Itinerary
Day 1Tour of the Capital City, Delhi
You can schedule your pickup from your hotel or the airport. A driver can meet you at the airport, where he will stand with your name displayed on the placard. He will take you to the hotel where you can check in before the tour begins. On the same day, you will be taken to visit the Lotus Temple, and sites of historical importance, which include the Qutub Minar, Red Fort and Humayun Tomb. In the evening, your tour guide will take you on a tuk tuk ride to Chandni Chowk. Return to your hotel.
Day 2Visit the City of Agra – home to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj
Early morning at approximately 6:00 AM, you will start your journey to Agra. It takes 3 hours to reach the city. It is advisable to ask the hotel to pack breakfast which you can have on your way to Agra. Once you arrive in the city you will meet your tour guide and your first visit will be the Taj Mahal. After exploring this beautiful mausoleum, you will visit the Agra Fort.
Have lunch at a restaurant of your choice. After lunch, your tour guide will take you to Baby Taj, which is known to be the source of inspiration for building the Taj Mahal. Enjoy the sunset view of Taj Mahal from Mehtab Gardens and explore the local markets for handcrafted products and souvenirs. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Agra.
Day 3Tour the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri on your way to Jaipur
If you opt for it, then you can enjoy the sunrise view of the Taj Mahal. Otherwise, you can have breakfast at your hotel and checkout for your journey to the city of Jaipur. It takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes to travel to Jaipur. But on your way, you will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, which is about an hour away from Agra. This is an old ghost town which was abandoned by the Mughal Empire because of lack of water.
On your arrival at Jaipur, check in to your hotel and take the evening to relax and explore the place on your own.
Day 4Explore palaces and forts in the Pink City, Jaipur
The next morning we begin at 8:00 AM after breakfast. The first stop is the Agra Fort, which is a huge complex that includes several palaces, buildings and gardens inside. Then we will travel to Jantar Mantar which once served as the Royal Observatory for the Rajput Kings. Lastly, we visit the Hawa Mahal before you return to your hotel for an overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 5Return to Delhi
After breakfast, we start at 9:00 AM to return to Delhi, It takes approximately 4 hours to reach the Capital City.
